Proposal for tritium production and for the development of tritium breeding technologies based on the development of special target bounded to a Neutron Spallation source with Demo that no other options as (present or new CANDU-like, devoted HF reactors, RTNS) being reliable. A 20 L of tritium breeding domain with robust passive TRS and simple TSS with minimum residence time (for minimum dwell times when extrapolating to fusion). Innovative solutions for the tritium experimental testing as (A) Active TPR and n-capture sensors; (B) DWT to be potentially considered for simultaneous Dual Power and Tritium recovery; (C) SC_CO2 for HRS and TRS technology; (D) Use of RML for dynamic tritium-mass balance controlled monitoring (New ITOP); (E) Microprinted LM/SCCO2 heat exchangers design. (F) Tritium recovery technologies from SC_CO2.

El mayor reto de nuestro Proyecto consiste en la demostración experimental de una técnica industrialmente escalable de producción de la aleación eutéctica de Litio-Plomo (Pb-15.7(2)Li); junto a la capacidad de enriquecimiento en 6Li, bajo Normas de materiales nucleares. Sus 4 grandes OBJETIVOS son:
(1) el establecimiento de la Norma (UNE) de Calidad del material en su producción, manejo y calificación. Establecimiento de red nacional de laboratorios de caracterización y calificación. (2) la demostración experimental de una técnica de separación isotópica de Li(6) escalable (1 kg); (3) la demostración experimental de una técnica de mezcla de Li-Pb bajo requisitos de calidad y escalable industrialmente (1 Tn); (4) Acciones clave hacia la industrialización en la producción de lotes de Pb-15.76Li.
Las actividades se estructuran en la realización de 22 Tareas específicas entre FUS_ALIANZ y el IQS, la URV, IDONIAL y CIEMAT. Subcontratados son UNED, IPUL y Riera Nadeu S.A.

EUTECTICS®: Industrial production of LLE under nuclear QA standard.
(1) Assessment of 6Li, lead-lithium eutectic material grades procurement demands for the EU WCLL ITER TBM blanket Program;
(2) A Material Production and Qualification Plan (MPQP) for LLE material grades ;
(3) A plan for the scoping production of 6Li and Pb-15.7(2)6Li nuclear grades including the selection of 6Li production technique in view of 6LLE TBM procurements
(4) Design supported modeling of MHD stirrers for Industrial production of LiPb.
(5) Prospecting production trials of LLE and LLE(6)) to confront MPQP.
This Project has generated a full capacity to procure Li(6)-enriched Lead-lithium certified nuclear grades in Spain by FUS_ALIANZ and collaborators.
