Gallizo specializes in the manufacture and installation of complex concrete and shielding structures for demanding industrial, nuclear and scientific infrastructures, combining precast concrete expertise with project execution capabilities from engineering support to final site assembly. We manufacture high-density concrete components, modular containment structures and welded steel assemblies, with plants in Spain, Poland and Italy.

Gallizo produces high-density concrete elements reaching densities of up to 4.9 kg/dm³ — among the highest achievable in cement-based materials — as well as steel-concrete hybrid assemblies for applications where combined mechanical performance and radiation attenuation are required. The company's modular system approach allows shielding enclosures and containment structures to be reconfigured or expanded over time, a critical advantage in long-lifecycle scientific facilities such as particle accelerators, neutron sources and nuclear research installations.

Gallizo designed and manufactured one of the caves at the European Spallation Source (ESS) in Lund, Sweden: a modular shielding enclosure providing a space isolated from radiation and electromagnetic interference. The project required extensive R&D, structural simulation and purpose-built forming systems, demonstrating the company's ability to deliver engineered solutions where standard construction methods are insufficient.
